It is obligatory for students of every distinct university to submit a dissertation in order to be eligible or worthy for an academic degree. Dissertation proposal writing is done on a specific topic that is related to your preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s program. However, before you write your dissertation you must first submit a dissertation proposal.

A dissertation proposal is a written suggestion of about a few thousand words that you must submit to your supervisor and seek their approval for it. In order to construct a proper dissertation here are the most important steps that you have to must follow:

1.Title

Come up with a suitable sounding heading for your dissertation. It has to be short, simple, to the point and not informal. Remember that your supervisor and also judges will want a professional sounding so that they are hooked when they read it.

Any employer who wishes to hire you would want to ask about your dissertation and expect to be persuaded by a decent heading as well.

2.Introduction

In the introduction, you have to write your reasons as to why you have chosen to conduct your research on this particular topic. Describe briefly what the purpose of your research is. You must also clarify whether you are against the topic you have chosen or are supportive of it.

3.Describe your objectives

Write a summarized version of all your objectives on how you plan to explain the nature of your research in your dissertation. You must mention the kind of research approach that you want to apply in your project.

Your objectives should be simple, clear and concise that readers will be quick to determine the motive of your approach.

4.Methodology

The methods that you want to apply in your research can be either empirical or non-empirical. This means that you can either choose to use questionnaires to that you have prepared in advance to survey your target audience or demographics or choose evidence from already written down articles and information. Be firm and precise when you write about your preferred methods.

5.Literature survey

This feature which is also known as Literature review is where you will explain the current research method that you are applying in your research and how this method has been utilized in other school of thoughts and areas as well.

Make sure to use a descriptive style of writing and make references to all the sources from where you have gathered your information from and give accurate citations as well.

Some universities may ask for a literature survey, otherwise some may ask of you to list all of your references and sources in the bibliography section of your dissertation.

6.Timetable

You could be asked to prepare a time chart to let your supervisor know how much time you need to conduct your research. Plan out the days in which you will be active. List the number of holidays ahead where you will be inactive or even abrupt holidays. Your supervisor must know at best where it is that you lack so that he/she can better aid you in your research.

7.Bibliography

This section lists all of sources from where you have gathered all of the essential and relevant details for your material in your dissertation.
