Bhartiya Group India: Complexity of Production Gas
Posted: Dec 16, 2014
Oxygen is the gas responsible for life and is essential for survival. While, nature produces enough oxygen for living organisms, human activities like deforestation have adverse effects on oxygen generation. In order to produce or extract more oxygen from nature, oxygen plants are setup. These oxygen generation plants, divide air into its various components and is then packed into cylinders and distributed across industries. Oxygen machines and factories are setup by trained and experienced oxygen plant manufacturers like The Bhartiya Group. The process of oxygen generation though, is not an easy one. It is highly technical and requires huge oxygen factories.
These oxygen plants once setup, use swing adsorption or membrane separation techniques to extract oxygen from air. Oxygen plants though differ from cryogenic oxygen plants. As far as the latter is concerned, they do not just extract oxygen, but break air into all its components. Air Separation plants make use of cryogenic techniques for their separation process. Air separation can be achieved through three different process- pressure (PSA), vacuum (VSA) and mixed (VPSA). In PSA Oxygen and Nitrogen Plants, the gas is recovered above atmospheric pressure and is then regenerated under atmospheric pressure. In order to achieve this, special PSA Oxygen Generators are used. In the other two cases, VSA plants recover gas under atmospheric pressure and regenerate it under negative pressure. And, in the mixed process pressure variations from positive to negative are used.
Cryogenic plants produce high purity of oxygen and nitrogen. To increase purity of gases even further, Low Pressure Oxygen and Nitrogen Plants, Low Pressure Liquid Oxygen and Nitrogen Plants and Liquid Oxygen Plants are used. Apart from oxygen and nitrogen, various other gases are produced synthetically as well, Nitrous Oxide being one of them. Also known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is used as an oxidizer for launching rockets, to increase power output in car engines and is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines. Nitrous Oxide plants heat ammonium nitrate at temperatures of over 250 degree Celsius, thus leading it to break into nitrous oxide and super-heated steam. Other impurities are also produced during the process, which are scrubbed using water, caustic soda and sulfuric acid.
Another important gas, Acetylene is used as a fuel and a chemical building block. Acetylene plants make use of advanced design acetylene generators to produce the gas with the help of Calcium Carbide. The Bhartiya Group has the best facilities in India to produce and extract all these gases. With various industrial and medical uses of these gases, a reputed group like the Bharitya Group is important to ensure reliability and accountability.
Bhartiya Group India is one of the leading manufacturers and exporter of medical and industrial plants including Oxygen, Nitrogen, Acetylene and Nitrous Oxide in India.
