In this article you'll learn about the correct order to clean a house and the tools you need for each step. It will also give you tips on how to save time and energy in between steps.

Step One: The Kitchen

Assuming you just finished cooking a big meal and the kitchen is now a disaster, the first step is to start with the sink. Fill it up with hot, soapy water and let the dirty dishes soak while you move on to step two.

Next, clear off the counters and wipe them down. Then, move on to sweeping and mopping the floor. Be sure to get under the appliances and into all the corners. Now is also a good time to wipe down any cabinets or surfaces that may have gotten splattered with food during your cooking.

Once you’re finished with that, empty out the sink of dishes and wash them by hand or load them into the dishwasher. Wipe down all surfaces one last time, including inside the microwave oven, and your kitchen will be clean as a whistle!

Step Two: The Living Room

Before you start cleaning the living room, it's important to clear the clutter. Pick up any toys, books, or clothing that doesn't belong in the room and put them away in their proper place. Once the clutter is gone, you can start on the dusting.

Start with surfaces like coffee tables, end tables, and shelves. Use a clean microfiber cloth to dust these surfaces. If you have any hard-to-reach places, like ceiling fans or high shelves, use a feather duster or an extendable duster to get rid of the dust.

Next, move on to vacuuming the floor. Be sure to vacuum under any furniture that can be moved. If you have a carpeted living room, use a vacuum with a brush attachment to remove any dirt and dust from the fibers. If you have hardwood floors, sweep them first and then mop them with a damp mop or sponge.

Finally, don't forget to clean the windows! You can use a window cleaner and a microfiber cloth to clean both the inside and outside of your living room windows.

Step Three: The Bathroom

Assuming you hire a maid cleaning services dubai that comes in and does this for you, the third step in properly cleaning your house is to focus on the bathroom. This is where things can start to get a little bit gross, but don't worry, we'll walk you through it.

Gathering all of your supplies should be your first priority. What you'll need for the restroom is…

-A toilet brush

-A toilet cleaner

-A sponge or cloth

-A tile cleaner

-A tub and shower cleaner (if you have a shower)

Once you have everything you need, it's time to get to work cleaning. The first thing you'll want to do is clean the toilet. After cleaning the bowl with the toilet brush, flush. Spray the bowl with cleaner and let it sit for a minute or two before scrubbing again and flushing. Repeat this process until the bowl is clean.

Next, move on to the sink. Use your sponge or cloth to wipe down the basin, then use tile cleaner on any tile surfaces. Finally, move on to the tub and/or shower (if applicable). Spray down the tub/shower with a cleaner and let it sit for a minute before scrubbing with a sponge or cloth. Rinse thoroughly when finished.

Step Four: Bedrooms, Hallways, and Entrance

When you get to the bedrooms, start with making the bed. Then, move on to dusting all surfaces including furniture, light fixtures, and window sills. Once that’s done, vacuum or sweep the floors. Don’t forget to clean under the bed!

In the hallway, start with dusting and then move on to vacuuming or sweeping the floor. If you have a rug, be sure to vacuum that as well. Don’t forget to dust any light fixtures or ceiling fans.

Finally, clean your entrance way. This includes sweeping and/or vacuuming the floor, dusting any surfaces, and cleaning your door (including the doorknob).
