Every parent tries to give the best upbringing to their children and therefore, they raise them with the best that they have. Moreover, it is also the wish of every parent to protect their loved ones from the disparities however, sometimes life has an unusual plan. One of the unusual events is - parents’ divorce which impacts kids the most. Since, looking for a child counselor is not a something which every parent wishes to have however; parents sometimes are left with only this option.

Just like an adult, a teenager may also suffer from various emotional or mental ups and downs in different phases of life and thus, he may suffer from various psychological issues. Some of them are anxiety, bereavement, loneliness, depression, self-esteem and many more. Moreover, some of the children may have special needs as they can be special children and therefore, they may have learning problems, eating problem and many more.

  • Unexpectedly dropping of the class grades. This also includes start missing school or not doing homework on time.
  • If he starts worrying excessively or looks too tensed and depressed.
  • If he starts losing interest in his favorite activities like sports, reading, dancing, writing, singing, swimming etc.
  • If he is becoming too emotional, short tempered or over aggressive. This also includes shifting mood rapidly.
  • If he starts participating in the illegal and dangerous activities such as alcohol, cigarette, drugs etc.
  • If the child starts behaving weirdly, strangely, inappropriately etc.
  • If he reverts back to his childish behavior and starts doing unusual things such as wetting the bed again etc.

So, if you find most of the answers "yes" then it is recommended to take no time and consult a child counselor who can actually diagnose and treat the root cause. Moreover, always look for a certified, experienced and trustworthy counselor who can help your children in learning new activities by leaving the disabilities behind.
