How to create an iCloud email account on an iPad, iPod, iPhone or MacTo create an iCloud email account on an iPad, iPod, iPhone or Mac follow given steps:
- Go to Settings
- Tap on your name see on top
- Tap iCloud
- See and Tap Mail, a pop up is appears and press Create
- Select the iCloud email address
- Tap Next
- Make Conform your details are correct as you can not change it later
- Tap on "Done"
- See in the top and select the Apple menu
- Choose on system Preferences
- Now you are running macOS 10.15 Catalina or later, hit Apple ID then iCloud
- Currently you are running macOS 10.14 or older you will just click to iCloud.
- Choose tick box for Mail
- Select you iCloud email ID and Tap OK
- Tap on "Create" when your details are correct as you. And your email account is selected
- Download iCloud for Windows. If it doesn’t install automatically, go to File Explorer and open iCloud Setup.
- Restart your computer.
- Make sure iCloud for Windows is open. If it doesn’t open automatically, go to Start, open Apps or Programs, and open iCloud for Windows.
- Enter your Apple ID to sign in to iCloud.
- Choose the features and content that you want to keep up to date across your devices.
- Click Apply.
- Choose the iCloud services that you want to use
After you turn on iCloud, select the services that you want to use and click Apply.
For example, if you turn on iCloud Photos and iCloud Drive, iCloud for Windows creates new folders for those files in File Explorer. Now, the files that you add to the iCloud folders automatically appear on your Apple devices.
Manage your iCloud storage and Account InformationYou can manage your iCloud storage by upgrading your storage plan or reducing the amount of storage that you’re using. If you want to make changes to your Apple ID, you can activate and update your email, mailing address, or other account information.
- To see your available storage, open iCloud for Windows.
- To manage your storage, click Storage. Select an app to see how much storage you’re using or click Buy More Storage to upgrade.
- To manage your Apple ID, open iCloud for Windows and click Account details. Click Manage Apple ID.
- Open the App Store and Tap the face icon.
- Tap Create New Apple ID. If you don’t see this option, you may be signed in to iCloud with another account. Sign out of iCloud to start from scratch.
- Create your email address with an icloud.com suffix. You’ll be asked about the country or region, which must match your billing address for your payment method.
- Tap Agree to Terms and Conditions, then tap Next.
- Enter your name and birthday and tap Next.
- Enter your credit card and billing information, or choose None, and enter your payment details later. Tap Next.
- Confirm your phone number. Tap Next.
- Check your email for a verification email from Apple and follow the steps to verify your email address.
