Stainless steel neck chains are quite mesmerizing and appealing. This can be attributed to the fact that they are made from stainless steel, which is quite stunning.

Stainless steel neck chains for men complement almost any outfit and are great for daily wear. However, they require sufficient care due to their wear and tear-nature. Fortunately, the process of cleaning stainless steel chains is a simple one and can be done at home without professional help.

Here are five quick ways to clean stainless steel chains for men:

  1. Clean using toothpaste

Plain white toothpaste, which does not contain whitening agents or additives, is suitable for this purpose. You need toothpaste that is soft and also abrasive enough to polish the steel. Dampen a piece of cloth with warm water and use it to rub the stainless steel repeatedly. Do not rub the cloth around the gemstones. When done, rinse the steel with warm water and dry it immediately to prevent damage.

  1. Clean using baking soda

Baking soda has many uses, one of which is the cleaning of stainless steel. It contains abrasive qualities that actively polish steel without roughening the surface. To use baking soda for this purpose, you must prepare a paste, a soft toothbrush to brush away the accumulated dirt, and some water.

After making the paste, scoop some onto the steel and clean using the bristles of the brush -loose particles can be loosened with a toothpick. After cleaning, rinse the steel with warm water and dry it with a towel. Baking soda does not cause shine, so you will need to apply a drop of olive oil to a dry cloth and wipe if you need it glimmering.

  1. Clean with dish soap

For this process, you need two bowls of water, dishwashing liquid, and a soft piece of cloth (lint-free).

Add three drops of liquid soap to one of the bowls of water. Do not add anything to the second bowl. Place the soft piece of cloth into the bowl with soap, and begin to scrub the stainless steel chain softly. When the dirt has been cleaned, place the steel into the second bowl of water and rinse thoroughly, when done, clean with a soft piece of cloth and leave to dry completely.

  1. Clean using ultrasonic cleaner

Ultrasonic cleaners are required for deep cleaning. They are mostly used to clean crooks, corners, and stainless steel jewelry with gemstones attached. Ultrasonic cleaners generate bubbles while cleaning. These bubbles reach deep into the nooks of the jewelry, cleaning it adequately and giving it some shine.

A few drops of dishwashing liquid and water can be added to the ultrasonic cleaner to achieve a great effect. Ultrasonic cleaners are fast and only require a few minutes to clean jewelry.

  1. Clean using vinegar

Vinegar cleans, disinfects, and gives a brilliant shine to jewelry. White vinegar is more suitable and can be used via two methods. To clean using the first method, add the content of the vinegar to a bowl, place the jewelry inside, and leave it to sit for some minutes before removing and rinsing the dirt away.

For the second method, pour the vinegar mix into a spray bottle and repeatedly spray into a soft piece of fabric until damp. Gently wipe the stainless steel neck chain with the piece of fabric until satisfied.

Stainless steel neck chains are a closet necessity and are available in various varieties at INOX Jewelry.
