Apple are the world’s most popular fruit. An apple is a rich source of fibre and carbohydrates. Its botanical name is Malus pumila. Apple are well grown in areas with an annual rainfall of 800 to 1100 mm. China is the wordwide largest producer of Apple and United States of America comes after it. Apple consists of red color with sweet and juicy taste. Mainly apple is eaten raw, but apples can also be used in various recipes, drinks, and juices. There are around 1500+ varieties available around the globe. There are so many healthy benefit of eating apple. There is a say "An Apple a day keeps a doctor away". Apple is very good for heart as it lower the cholesterol levels which reduce the risk of cardiovascular related diseases. Also improving blood flow through heart with reduce the risk of heart failure. Apple is a nature medicine for a patient suffering from diabetes as it slow down the process of sugar absorption in blood and helping in maintaining sugar levels. Apple is also a rich source of Vitamin C which is an antioxidant, that act as a shield of heart. Vitamin C is also benefit for proper immune function, which helps your immune system to function properly and protect the body from diseases and infections. Apple is also a rich source of antioxidants which helps in reducing oxidative stress. Apple is also benefit for weight loss as it does not contain any fatty nutrients in it, so for overweight person this fruit must be considered to be the best for maintaining body shape. Apple fruit contains quercetin that helps neurons from oxidative damage which helps in preventing Alzheimer’s disease. Apple is also helps in reducing the risk of stroke as apple contain many nutrients like dietary fibre, vitamin C, Potassium, carbs may lower the risk of stroke. Potassium is the main mineral in apple which is very healthy for heart if it is consumed in sufficient amount. Apples also consists of carbs and water which helps in gut health. Apple have many antioxidant which is good for healthy like Quercetin, Catechin- improve muscle and brain function and Chlorogenic acid- helps in weight loose. Recently Some studies shows that apples may help protect against diabetes, heart and stroke related diseases.
