India Will Be the Second Largest Smart Phone Market BY 2016

According to the research firm E-Marketer, India will be the second largest Smartphone market globally by 2016. The firm has concluded that the increasing availability of the cheap handsets is the major reason that the Smartphone market is growing with a rapid speed. As per E-Marketer the population of the Smartphone users in India will cross the mark of 20 crore by 2016 and this will beat most of the other countries on this track to get the second position. From this perspective, China is ruling the throne, and then comes India and the USA come at the third position with 19.85 Smartphone users. The count of the Smartphone users in China is 62.47 crore. Russia is on the third spot with 6.51 crore users and Japan is the fifth with 6.12 crore users, as per corporate news.

The report said that the first time in 2015 more than one third of the global population will use Smartphone’s and by 2018 more than one third of the entire population of the world will use Smartphone’s. E-Marketer say cheap smart phones in emerging markets are creating new opportunities for marketing and commerce where the Internet was not accessible to the consumers.

However, Smartphone’s users are playing a vital role and turning to be the best medium that are making changes in the mature and established markets. The reach of Internet in every hand is bringing a big change not only in the socio, economical status of the users but also impacting the outlook. Be it any sector, without Internet exposure no business can grow and they play a vital role to take any business to the next level with the help of Internet, corporate news reported.

On the whole, the global market of Smartphone is on the rise due to the young users, especially in the aforementioned countries and that is why India comes in the first two spots because it has almost the 50 per cent youth of its entire current population. On the other hand, China has almost the same scenario. This population is the one aspect which is being targeted by the Smartphone manufacturers. These are the most TECH and NET savvy people and they do not want to be left behind in any field due to their competitive nature. Therefore, the Smartphone manufacturers know the exact area where to hit, as per corporate news.
