CCCV charging mode is recommended for Lifepo4 Battery pack, that is, constant current followed by constant voltage. Constant current is recommended at 0.3C. The constant voltage is recommended to be 3.65. That is, the constant current is charged at 0.3C. When the battery voltage reaches 3.65V, the constant voltage is charged at 3.65V. When the charging current is lower than 0.1C (or 0.05C), the charging is stopped, that is, the battery is fully charged. When you charge with a constant voltage power supply, you should also look at the charging current. It is recommended not to charge with too high voltage. After adjusting the voltage, ensure that the charging current is below 0.5C, which is good for the battery.

Generally, the upper limit of charge voltage of Lifepo4 Battery Cell is 3.7~4V, and the lower limit of discharge voltage is 2~2.5V. Considering the five aspects of discharge capacity, discharge median voltage, charging time, percentage of constant current capacity, and safety, the constant current and constant voltage charging scheme is adopted. For Lifepo4 Battery pack, the charging limit voltage is set at 3.55~3.70V, which is reasonable. The recommended value is 3.60~3.65V, and the lower limit of discharge voltage is 2.2V~2.5V.

The charger of Lifepo4 Battery pack is different from ordinary lithium battery. The maximum terminal charging voltage of lithium battery is 4.2 volts; The Lifepo4 Battery pack is 3.65 volts. When the Lifepo4 Battery pack is charged, it is the flat cable connected to the balance charging board. Generally, it is directly connected in series from both ends for overall charging. The charger voltage is greater than the battery pack voltage. The voltage of each single cell detected by the flat wire is equivalent to parallel connection of voltage stabilizing tubes. The charging voltage of the single cell will not exceed the voltage stabilizing value, while other single cells continue to charge through the bypass of the voltage stabilizing tube.

At this time, the power of each cell is nearly full, and it is only balancing each cell, so the charging current is small, and each cell is fully charged. The charger can only protect the voltage at the end of the whole battery pack. The balanced charging board can ensure that each cell is overcharged and each cell is fully charged. It cannot stop the whole lithium battery pack charging because one cell is fully charged.
