Air Force Common Entrance Test is the full name of the test (AFCAT). Educational Qualifications-:

Flying Branch: Candidates must have completed Sections A and B of the Associate Membership examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) or the Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum 60% score in order to apply. They must also have completed a minimum three-year degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or a four-year BE/B.Tech with a minimum 60% score.

Ground Duty: Applicants for ground duty (technical branch) must hold the degree of aeronautical engineer (electronics) AE (L) and 50% in math and physics in their 12th STD. and possess a minimum of a four-year degree in engineering or technology, as well as an integrated postgraduate degree, from an accredited university.

Candidates holding the degree of Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) AE (M) and possessing a four-year degree graduate/Integrated Post graduation in Engineering/Technology from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 Level.
