HYC Co., Ltd, a leading manufacturer of passive optical devices, unveiled its integrated optical subassemblies for 400G high-speed transceivers and will bring this new product to OFC2023 exhibition.

The rapid development of high-speed optical modules in data centers is driving the demand for more compact and high-speed optical engines, which is the key component insider high-speed transceivers. HYC’s integrated subassembly integrates all optical components at the RX end of 400G high-speed transceivers, including receptacle, collimator, z-block, lens array, and prism, which greatly improves the coupling efficiency of the optical transceiver module and reduces costs.

These subassemblies are available with CWDM and LAN WDM based on TFF technology, physically spaced on a 250, 750um or customized pitch to accommodate a variety of standards for client. The beam size is less than 11um, which can be perfectly matched with PD arrays. It is the core integrated product that very few companies in this field can produce at this moment.

HYC’s optical subassemblies are designed and manufactured using vertically integrated processes based on optical design/simulation, precision optical coupling/assembly/testing, back-end processing capabilities.

As the optical module industry gradually begin to enter the era of 800G and silicon photonics, the demand for high-speed optical engines will increase. Based on this platform, HYC can design and produce a lot of products that can be used inside optical transceivers for WDM solutions, for example, subassemblies for 800G modules.

HYC will showcase this product at OFC 2023. Come visit us at booth #2622 to explore innovative technologies.

As a leading manufacturer of passive optical component, HYC is excited to participate in this important event and share our latest products with attendees. This is the first time we have so many executives and technicians attending OFC after the epidemic.

You may here will find a NEW HYC.

1. New intelligent production industrial park

In 2021, HYC moved into a self-built industrial park of 40,000㎡, with introducing a large number of advanced automatic equipment and ERP/MES-based information system. The annual production of devices increased by nearly three times.

2. Six-core technology platforms

Based on six core technology platforms, HYC can design and produce a lot of products that can be used for DCI/Coherent/Silicon Photonics/IDC/FTTX/EDFAs/WDM solutions. We do also have the ability of back-end processing for PLC/AWG wafers and so on.

3. Five product lines

Starting from 2020, New product line of high-speed transceiver optical subassemblies and EDFA components was introduced. For example, we recently launched an integrated subassembly for 400G receivers, which is a core integrated product that few companies in this field can produce. New products such as CLWDM/CDWDM, integrated subassemblies for 800G … is on processing.
