It is one of the worst floods in 122 years. 4.3 million people are in need of humanitarian aid, including 1.6 million children. There is an immediate need for food, water purification tablets, emergency hygiene kits, and shelter. Airports are closed, and electricity has been cut off, due to victims dying of electrocution.
