‘Girls’ Premiere: Allison Williams, Sophia Bush & More Wow On The Red Carpet
Posted: Jan 08, 2015
From the leading ladies to the hit HBO show to stylish red carpet staples, the stars braved the chilly NYC weather and dressed their best for the glam premiere night — but who do YOU think rocked the best frock?
Our favorite Girls are, (almost), back! The cast celebrated the return of the fourth season of the hit HBO show in NYC on Jan. 5 at the American Museum of Natural History, where they kept things interesting on the red carpet in one stunning look after another.

- Girls’ Premiere Best Dressed — Allison Williams & More:
Allison Williams opted for a feminine and chic strapless ensemble that had such a sophisticated vibe — and it was also quite festive! While some gals opted for bold hues, the star sparkled in her midnight blue embroidered skirt from Monique Lhuillier‘s Pre-Fall 2015 collection. My only complaint is that the star wore the skirt with a longer bandeau, turning the separates into a dress. While she looked amazing, I think it would’ve done more for her figure and also added a youthful vibe to the look had she shown a hint of skin. Black pumps and kohl-rimmed eyes completed the style.
Zosia Mamet‘s style is usually quite quirky and can often be misunderstood — but she totally blew me away last night when she kept it simple and got it right! The star looked phenomenal in a bold red leather Alexander McQueen dress — and she opted for a full-on matching moment, pairing it with her satin Brian Atwood Maniac pumps and finishing it off with a bold red lip.
Lena Dunham opted for a bold Creatures of the Wind dress that featured bronze, blue, green and yellow stripes, adding a vibrant, unexpected vibe to the outfit. Cutouts at the shoulders balanced out the free-flowing silhouette, which she completed with black sandals.
Sophia Bush is always one that catches our eye, and she did just that when she arrived in a pretty in pink ensemble. The Chicago PD star flaunted her cleavage in a plunging dress from theLela Rose Spring 2015 collection. What really set the look apart were her Christian Louboutin‘Bille Et Boule’ PVC pumps, which featured pink suede and red patent leather. The shoes were unexpected and seriously stylish — and they totally made the look in my book. I wouldn’t expect to see this dress on the red carpet for a January premiere, but with the shoes I totally loved it — and I’ll love it all over again on a star at a spring photo call.
See who else wowed us on the red carpet and let us know who YOU think donned the best frock.
