Surface Engineering Technology and its significance

Technologies that are intended to transform the properties of metallic or non-metallic constituents, especially on the surface for either decorative or functional resolves are in general called surface engineering. The main motive behind the development of this technology is to reduce or eliminate corrosion, increase wear resistance and lengthen the component life.
