Shri. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has always been known for his progressive and innovative initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the people of the state. Under these TDP Policies, online services relating to ophthalmology are provided through 115 centres that have been established in the state of Andhra Pradesh in a public-private partnership (PPP) mode. The corresponding TDP Political Leaders said that the programme works in a simple and efficient manner. The recipient visits the nearest e-Eye clinic to get their eyes checked. After generating the report at the centre the treatment is initiated based on the report. Correction glasses/ spectacles are then provided free of cost on the basis of the report. This is a major TDP Contribution to the people of Andhra Pradesh because the poorest of the poor have access to high-quality eye care services.

The initiative is a Top TDP Achievement and has been widely praised by healthcare experts and the public alike. It has not only improved access to eye care services but has also saved time and money for patients who would have otherwise had to travel long distances to get their eyes checked.
