Returned because lost

It was a dark night, so cold the street was so calm suddenly a loud voice came out from home. The woman was shouting at a girl and throwing the vessels and broomsticks when she was standing outside of the house. She was crying and the door shut so harsh she stood there for sometimes, inside of the home her parents were arguing. The father opened the door to call her inside but she disappeared. They both panicked and called her so many times, she didn’t pick them up, then they came out and searched her all along the street but they didn’t find her, they both stood in the middle of the road crying that they lost her.

This story is about one of my school friend named Prethi, she is a girl who always be in a fear and sweating even in the winter times, she always does things in a hurry, she is the one who always redo everything because of her mistakes. She is always in a state of panic and tension. She rarely talks to mates and she doesn't have any friends for the first three months of that year. After some months she talked to me because my teacher asked me to instruct her about computer coding. She spent an hour with me in the lab after classes. then she became familiar with me. Sometimes she would call me to talk. suddenly she stopped attending classes for a month. I can't reach her through the phone. noone in the class knows the reason for her absence. After some days I heard people saying she is going around on a bike with a guy. She ran with that guy after school. Her parents came to school to ask the principal that she didn’t return home after school. Her brother used to come along with her but he came alone after searching her in class and around the streets. The management of my school tried to find her and then they found in the camera that she left the school so soon after the minute the bell rang.

They informed their parents about this, and they filed a complaint in the police station. This is what I know throughout the months until she returns. After so many months she returned to school in the last term. The management was not convinced to join her again but after so many excuses she came back to school. Everyone looked at her when she entered the class, everyone was talking and giggling. She came and sat before me. I was so curious to know what happened. I decided to talk to her about that so I just waited for a nice time. After three days she was so dull I started talking to her about the issue. i said to her that i trust her whatever she says. I'm not going to gossip or laugh or back talk about her. I wish to know the truth because I don't want to believe what others say. she started saying the real things with eyes filled with tears. She fell in love with a guy when she was studying 10th std. Her parents were so rural that they decided to get her married after she completed school. She didn't know anything about these. She got good marks and joined this school because of vacating her home. She and her boyfriend's communication became so rare and she started talking on the phone which is hidden. One day a family came to her house. Her mom shouted to wear a saree and dress up. She didn't know why, she thought it’s Friday so maybe any function or prayer in the temple. Her mom took some jewels for her and asked Prethi to wear it. She was so confused. She wasn't allowed to open the door of her room until her mom said she sat quietly and with some fear. she asked to come out with a coffee tray. They talked and decided that the guy liked her, she didn’t say a word her mom said yes, they promised to them that after she completed the school we can decide the date of the marriage after six months the engagement was fixed. She was so angry and fought with them. The next day she decided to go with the guy she is in love with. So she went with him after school, taking some of her dress and the savings. Because they filed a complaint however they found her in two days. and they had a big fight that night she left home again. Her boyfriend picked her up. She lived in his home with his friend. That guy was living in a room with his two friends. She stayed there for two months. Because of a fight he broke up with her she came out all alone. She doesn't even have a rupee in her hands. She was weak and crying on the road. She walked about 5 to 6 kilometers to reach school but the school was closed and she sat near the gate. The watch man questioned her and after saying that she was lost he left her there until morning. she asked help to a teacher of kindergarten that she was lost and she need a hostel to stay. She wishes not to return home anyways. Her mom used to come every morning and leave the school until every student leaves the school hoping that she will return. When she knew she said to the teacher that she is not a good daughter to them. Her brother is enough to take care of them. They are going to miss and search for her just for a few months then they forget her.So the teacher took her home and gave some food. She asked her to get fresh. The teacher told her to stay in a women's hostel or a home for free until she feels good to return back home. Then she started missing the days with her family. In the middle of the night she woke up from a nightmare and next morning she ran to her home without saying anything to anyone. she just hugged her mom with tears and screaming. her mom cried too and accepted with the same love with no anger and she said all that happened. Her mom promised her that until she needs to get married, her mom is not going to force her. She became happy and joined school with new confidence and happiness.
