SMC launches new dust collector valve

SMC pneumatics, the worldwide leading manufacturer of pneumatic products, is preparing to clean up with its updated dust collector valves VXF Series. The 2 port solenoid or air operated valve has an expanded size range with a wide range of port sizes from ¾" to 4" to accommodate the large bore size application market and industries such as iron and steel. With a variety of piping options including direct piping, which connects directly to a pipe and flange type piping that connects directly to a tank, the VXF Series can be used in any system or industrial plant of any scale.

The VXF Series valve is also capable of delivering a high speed response due to its double diaphragm. VXF series valve’s large opening sizes result in large discharge flow rates and its low minimum operating pressure allows low compressor power consumption. This valve’s renewed construction has extended the service life of the VXF Series valve and improved durability, as well has also reduced its operating noise making it a suitable choice for quiet environments. Further noise reductions can also be achieved with the option of adding a silencer. With energy efficiency being a key driving force for any industry, the VXF Series has a low power consumption of just 4.5W in most models. This valve is controlled by a dedicated controller, VXFC, which has six or ten outputs and features a dual pulse function that improves the dusting efficiency of the bag filter and can interrupt operations from an external switch using input signals.
