Tips to recover from Sleep Deprivation

Sleep deprivation, is the condition of not having the sufficient amount of sleep. This happens due to various factors such as, – lifestyle changes, diet, drugs, stress and tiredness etc. Sleepless night is very irritating and makes you uncomfortable the next day.

The only solution to overcome the sleep-deprivation is to have enough sleep. But, most people do not have adequate sleep in the night instead they feel sleepy in the morning hours and get irritated unnecessarily. So, in order to overcome those issues, we would like to help you out with few tips – through which you can get recovered easily after a sleepless night.

  • Get exercised: In order to boost yourself and make your day active after a sleeplessness night, some moderate exercise like aerobics will help you out. But, don’t overdo it because, it will make your body tired with pains and again you may feel sleepy in the morning hours. So, moderate exercise like aerobics or yoga will help you a lot to get yourself refreshed back, after a sleepless night.
  • Hydrate yourself: The major reason for the fatigue is dehydration. So, to avoid this, you need to hydrate your body adequately by drinking at least 8 cups of water daily.
  • Eat right: When you are sleep deprived, your body gets tired and you will not have sufficient energy to work. In such situations, you should avoid eating fast foods, rather eat the foods that boosts your energy. It is also suggested to have coffee, as it gives freshness and helps you to recover well after a sleepless night.
  • Avoid Nap: Naps only worsen your condition and they don’t bring you any benefit. So, try to avoid naps for better night sleeping. Avoiding naps restore your energy and alertness in the daytime and try to sleep early in the night. Else, short time naps of about 15 to 20 minutes would be fine – and don’t sleep beyond that during the day time.
  • Get freshness: Get some freshness through bath, and enjoy the fresh air and sunlight. This not only gives you freshness all the day, but also makes you less sleepy in the morning hours.

These are the few tips that can help you to recover from the sleepless night and make the entire day afresh. This not only helps you for the day, but also makes you sleep well in that night. If you are continuously sleep deprived, it is better to consult a doctor and get precautions and suggestions from him.
