When the iPad first came out, iPod lovers were thrilled because it looked a lot like an iPod, but much larger.  As with any new tech device, anticipation and expectations were high and I do believe the iPad has met most expectations.

The iPad, which was released first in April of 2010, boasted a long battery life, appealed to eBook lovers, game lovers, and business owners.  In the past couple of years, the iPad has come a long way and now we have just seen the release of the latest version: The iPad 3.

There are many reasons why you should love the iPad, but here I will share 4 with you.

1.      It’s the best tech toy around.  Almost every age can find some games and enjoyment on the iPad.  No more will your children be bored in the car, at the store, at home, at the beach, etc., because there are more than 3, 000 apps just for children.  I’m sure you have heard of the Angry Birds app.  This game is one of the most common games downloaded onto the iPad.  Angry Birds is a simple game that keeps your attention for long periods of time. In fact, many people are addicted to it.  Adults like the thousands of apps available as well.  From racing to scrabble to golf- games are plenty.

2.     Educational apps are abundant.  For those who love to learn or who want their children to excel in school, the iPad has thousands of educational apps that will fit any age range.  Your children can learn their ABC’s, work on spelling, learn a different language, read books, listen to books, draw pictures, play the piano, and a whole lot more.  Adults can learn just about anything they want to, including foreign languages, geography, landscaping, and listen to TED talks.  The iPad is surely an educational haven.

3.     eBooks galore are at your fingertips.  Book lovers will absolutely love the iPad.  You can download more books than you can fathom at affordable prices. No longer do you have to have books cluttering your home when iPad eBook apps allow you to store thousands of them. No longer do you have to take 5 or 6 books on vacation with you, as the iPad is the only thing you will need to be able to read.  The Nook app allows you to sort your books and organize however you would like.

4.     The App Store rocks.  Over 90, 000 apps are available at the app store.  There are apps for your business, your children, the news, weather, magazines, games, videos, music, career, and more.  You can spend hours just looking through all of the amazing apps that will help your life to be simpler plus gives you hours to entertain yourself.  You can’t go wrong with apps like Pocket Pharmacy, Garage Band, Netflix, iFitness, and Pageonce Personal Finance.

The consensus is clear that you will love your iPad.  This device is still relatively new and so far most consumers love their iPad and believe it is a good investment.
