Erdem Moralioglu has added to his growing list of style honours with a win at the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards.

The Montreal-born, London-based designer behind the acclaimed Erdem label was honoured as international Canadian designer of the year at the CAFA gala held in Toronto on Saturday.

The award recognizes a designer that has achieved success abroad and brought attention to Canadian talent on the world stage.

Moralioglu's victory comes on the heels of his third consecutive win at the British Fashion Awards, where he was recognized as womenswear designer of the year.

In its second year, the CAFAs recognize homegrown talent within the arts and fashion community.
