Smolensk State Medical University is one of the oldest medical colleges in Russia and it was founded in 1920. It is located near the Dnieper River and 360 kilometres west and southwest of Moscow. This medical university celebrated its 104th anniversary in March 2024 and this university is a state-financed university. This university is the centre of top medical studies in Russia and along with this, the medical university is approved by many organisations like NMC, WHO, and many others organisations.
More than 50 international students are studying in this medical university, Smolensk State Medical University has 67 departments and more than 450 professors.
