The requirement of desalinized water is quite extensive. The necessity for drinking water, medical purposes, industrial applications, pharmacological, swimming pools, aquariums, etc. have led to the innovation of water filtration systems. The impure substance in the water makes it impossible for any proper utilization. To wipe out the impurities and decontaminate the water to be fit for all purposes, the container water purification set ups have received immense prominence.

The container water purification unit achieves the result of desalinized water by following various technical procedures. It starts with pH analysis and correction with injection of coagulants, deep media filtration, and removal of salts, dissolved solids, dirt by reverse osmosis method and finally the storage of water in the flexible reservoir.

Basic components of container water purification systems:

  • Dosing panels: The dosing panels in does the automatic dosing of chemicals for treatment.
  • Static mixers: These are tubular internal components which produce desired mixing and dispersion effects.
  • Pump: It pressurizes the water in the water filtration systems.
  • Media Filters: They filter out the coarse components in the water.
  • Control unit: It manages the whole unit of water regulation in the container.
  • Storage tanks: The container has huge water storage capacity.

The basic treatments in the container water purification systems are: filtration, softening and demineralization. Filtration means the removal of coarse solid contents from the water by forcing through the medium where the solvent can proceed. The various filtration mediums serve different applications. Some of the filtration mediums are sand filtration, Granular activated carbon, microfiltration, iron removal filters, etc. The softener removes the hardness properties in the in the water. And the demineralization of water is done by mixed bed ion exchange method.

The reverse osmosis method in the water purification process is the pressurized permeation of water through semi-permeable membrane which distinguishes the solvent and solids. The coarse contents are removed through the drainage line. The method is used for removing the dissolved salts, solids and dirt from the water and makes it usable for drinking purposes.

The containerized water treatment plant has multiple advantages over built-in room plants. They are customizable according to the customer’s choice. These containers come in the standard ISO sizes of 20ft, 40ft and 40ft HQ. These movable water filtration systems in multi-locations make it outstanding in the medium of water treatment plants. They have production capacities of 6000L/day. Their mobility and quick installation makes them more efficient. The branding and colors can also be done with customer specification.

They can be equipped with single/double access doors, windows with the protection bar, AC units, power generators and other facilities according to the customers. These are quick start-ups, fully automatic, hassle free and can meet any raw water treatments. The typical applications of these containers could be for domestic purposes, drinking water, shopping centers, camps, schools, military units, hotels, farms, hospitals, construction sites, other remote locations. Basically, it is an all purpose serving water purification unit.
