One of them is the Sekoma Island lodge. You can access the waters surrounding the lodge through mokoro or dugout boat found in this place. You will find lodges in the flood plain region of the upper Zambezi River situated in Zambia. You can enjoy the Monster Bream and Trophy Tiger fish in the vast floodplains of Eastern Caprivi. We welcome you to come and challenge the age old legendary Tiger Fish and the bream which has a large mouth on lures, fly or live bait. The lodges are present near the junction of four countries Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. They are situated close to the Impalila Island.
Our Mambova Rapids are situated 80 km upstream from Victoria Falls in the Zambezi River on the Zambian side. We along with fishing also provide with Africa’s big game and birdlife for our tourists. Our lodges are embellished with luxury twin-bed tents and bathrooms. We provide you with the facility to convert each of our rooms to a queen sized double room or a single room with two beds. We give two pillows, a warm blanket, a duvet and a bed sheet for summer season.
Added to the rooms, our Sekoma Island lodge has a Boma. Boma is a place where you can experience the beauty of an African evening. Among our activities as mentioned before are fishing, bird watching and game viewing. You will find fishes like Tiger Fish, Olive Bream, Thinface largemouth, Threespot Tilapia, Humpback largemouth, Pink Happy, Redbreast Tilapia, and Sharp Tooth Catfish. There are 400 species of birds that you can see from the Sekoma Island lodge. Wi-Fi is not available though we request you to use 3G cards through your roaming network. As our lodges are situated in malaria prone area, please take prophylactics.
