Wide array of Spray Nozzle under one roof
Posted: Feb 13, 2015
Dispersing a liquid flow results in a spray! To make the dispersion precise, spray nozzles are devised. Depending upon the type of operation technique and application, spray nozzles are classified into different categories. Whatever be the type that a customer needs, we provide them with the best quality at spray-nozzles.Increasing the surface area of liquid that is being sprayed is one of the main functionality of the spray nozzle. Distribution of the liquid over a specified area and creating an impact on ant defined surface are also the functions that require the usage of a nozzle. The functionality of operation requires a different type of nozzle design and we deal with only the best designs that give optimum performance.
We deal with Spray nozzles for single fluid operations. Such nozzles use the kinetic energy of the flowing fluid by converting them into small droplets and they are the most preferred ones as they provide the maximum surface area of the fluid that is being sprayed. Flow rate of the fluid and the size of the droplets are inversely proportional. Whenever pressure of the flowing fluid is increased, flow of the fluid at the outlet of nozzle also increases and at the same time the size of the droplets will decrease. As far as the single fluid nozzles are concerned we deal with different types based on the nozzle structural design and configuration. Where ever a fine atomization is the requirement, we can supply nozzle with Plain Orifice.
These types of nozzles find application in high pressure applications like diesel injection engines and in low pressure applications like tank cleaning. We also deal with nozzles in hemispherical shape and nozzles with V-Notches that could be used in applications like spray painting. If the spray requirement is of spiral shape or partially spiralled and cone shaped then we have specially designed that allows the flow to hit a hard surface before entering the nozzle. Such nozzles are technically named as surface impingement nozzles. Their typical application includes pesticide spraying, painting, fire fighting devices, flue gas stripping mechanisms etc.
These type of nozzles produce smaller droplets of fluid that could penetrate into the surface where the spray is aimed at. With a different flow pattern for suiting various applications we also supply pressure swirl nozzles, solid cone nozzle and compound nozzle for meeting diverse applications. In applications where the controlling of the droplet size and variations are imminent we supply dual fluid nozzles. In this case the actual velocity of the liquid is increased by adding an additional stream of gas which normally would be compressed air or steam as per the user requirement. Depending on the end use we have two designs in dual flow nozzles.
For the requirement of high velocity sprays we would suggest to go for internal mix nozzle where the gas and liquid streams are mixed before hitting the nozzle. In this case the velocity of liquid will be very less compared to the flow and pressure of the gas stream. A typical example of this type is fuel gas injection mechanism. We at spray-nozzles not only supply excellent spray nozzle to suit all your requirement with great quality but also offer expert advice in choosing the right nozzle and unmatched after sales service.
