In this case the actual velocity of the liquid is increased by adding an additional stream of gas which normally would be compressed air or steam as per the user requirement. For the requirement of high velocity sprays we would suggest to go for internal mix nozzle where the gas and liquid streams are mixed before hitting the nozzle. In this case the velocity of liquid will be very less compared to the flow and pressure of the gas stream.
