Life today is busy, nobody has time to do odds, but to get it done all, you must either have resources like support staff, money or effective utensils. Unfortunately, I had none; I couldn’t hire maids or spend money on utensils so I had to look for ways to ease up my everyday household responsibilities. I picked almost countless ideas and found them effective.

Have you ever thought of utilizing or recycling junk or old sports gears in your garage? Next time you visit your garage; see if you want to cut down garage junk and if there are things that are further usable. If you want to put your garage straight, bring out all junk and see if you could use them to cut down buying and utility costs.

I’ve sorted out a few tips to recycle your garage junk. I’ve tested and tried all these as

Kids' sleds

If you have a garden, you must be having a wheelbarrow or pricy pushcarts to attend your garden clearing needs like removing weeds, rocks, pruned branches etc. Why not bring something in use that’s lighter in weight and burden-free at pockets? Yes, it is nothing but your kid’s sleds. Attach a rope to it, it becomes a sturdy sledge. This is one garden tool you must try, this will ease up your garden worries, and thus you wouldn’t have to hire any support maid for it.

Golf gear

If you have an old golf bag on wheels, you are lucky! Even if you are just left with the steel structure you can still fix another bag on it. Why not use it as a tool cart to store garage accessories in it so that you can move it around, that’s portable. A few tools can be clipped outside the bag and some could be kept in the main compartment and smaller tools could be poked within side pockets.

Empty cardboard tubes

You all use toilet paper with a cardboard tube in between. Once you are done with the toilet paper, you throw out cardboard tubes away! This time, you don’t have to; put a transparent tape on it (upside down) the sticky part on the upside to get rid of flies and mosquitoes. Make two notches on the cardboard and tie tapes from both the ends tightly and hang it on door. I’m sure flies and mosquitoes will stop hanging around. You can even use discarded tube lights for this. To add more, put a glowing material on the inside so that it attracts pesky flies and trap them before it enters your house.

Coffee cans

Have you ever thought, salt is a dehumidifier. If you think your garage or basement is too damp, why not try to dehumidify it with salt? Fill empty bottle of salts and corner them where they remain undisturbed. Replace the salt at bi-monthly intervals and hang them to absorb dampness. In short, you’ll stay care-free about frequent rusting, eroding etc.

Old newspapers

As soon as you are done reading the newspaper, you put them aside and sell the bunch for recycling. But if you have garden, why not utilize it? Lay down several sheets of newspaper over the soil and cover it with mulch to retain moisture and stop weeds from outgrowing. Cover with sheets to ripen up last season fruits and vegetables like tomatoes to delicious taste and size. Not just with tomatoes, you can equally help your entire plantation by spreading old newspaper on it.

Summary:

There are always ways to ease up work; all you need is to pay a little attention to it. If you are living in UAE, there is no wrong in hiring affordable maids in UAE to get your work done, because time is more important than money.
