Polaris Government and Defense is unveiling two new military snowmobiles today: the 2025 Military 650 TITAN 155 and the 2025 Military 850 PRO RMK 155. These snowmobiles leverage cutting-edge technology and enhancements from Polaris's 2025 snowmobile lineup to offer exceptional performance. Polaris Government and Defense is trusted by military forces worldwide for their rugged off-road and light tactical vehicles, including over-snow reconnaissance vehicles (OSRVs) essential for winter warfare.

"Expeditionary forces often rely on Polaris for Arctic mobility, and our commitment is to provide vehicles that meet their evolving mission requirements," stated Nick Francis, Vice President of Polaris Government and Defense. "The new 2025 Military 650 TITAN 155 and 2025 Military 850 PRO RMK 155 snowmobiles have been developed with input from our long-time snowmobile users. By collaborating closely with operators specializing in Arctic operations, we ensure that these next-generation OSRVs fulfill the demands of modern military missions while offering superior maneuverability, utility, and reliability in harsh winter conditions."

The 2025 Military 650 TITAN 155 and 2025 Military 850 PRO RMK 155 come with several military-specific modifications:

  • Blackout Mode: A single switch turns off all lights for covert operation.
  • IR Light: Infrared lighting offers visibility to operators during blackout mode.
  • White Body Panels: Additional white on the snowmobiles provides better camouflage.
  • 12V Outlets: Enable powering or charging of handheld electronics and other mission-critical devices.
  • Power Boosting Regulator: Automatically delivers maximum electrical power at idle and low RPMs to support the 12V outlets and any added accessories.
  • Handlebar with Mountain Hoop: The added hoop offers better control and riding angle for the operator.

The 2025 Military 650 TITAN 155, built on the reliable Matryx platform and powered by the quick-accelerating 650 Patriot engine, is the most capable widetrack snowmobile in Polaris's history. This robust two-person vehicle can carry a passenger and an additional 125 lbs of cargo, with a hitch to tow a trailer and up to 1200 lbs of supplies. It features a powerful winch with a 1500 lbs capacity for vehicle recovery or moving obstacles. The new BackTrak20 rear suspension, high-clearance independent front suspension, and Trailbreaker skis allow the TITAN to traverse snow better than previous models, even in reverse. The articulating rail enables the long track to hinge upwards, and a removable rear snowflap enhances reverse mobility. The transmission provides high and low gearing for controlled power distribution and increased engine torque for heavy loads. A cooling system with a radiator maintains optimal engine temperature during slow operations, heavy towing, and low-snow conditions for consistent performance and reliability.

The 2025 Military 850 PRO RMK 155 is a lightweight, agile snowmobile designed for superior maneuverability in patrol and reconnaissance roles. Its extended track and tapered tunnel boost performance in deep snow, while a full-length cooler ensures better cooling and reliability in marginal snow conditions. The high elevation clutch calibration optimizes operation at increased altitudes, and the adjustable Velocity shocks accommodate varying rider weights and gear for enhanced control and handling.

Both models feature durable Polaris two-stroke engines with electric start, and also support manual pull-starts in extreme cold. They have undergone weight reduction and ergonomic improvements for enhanced control, with advanced suspension systems for better handling, capability, and agility. The calibrated shocks and proven suspension architecture absorb terrain bumps, providing a comfortable ride, while the narrow cockpit ensures better control, stability, and precise navigation. Designed for stealth, these snowmobiles blend seamlessly into snowy Arctic environments and include keyless ignition for simplified fleet management. Orders for these military snowmobiles can be placed now through Polaris Government and Defense, with production and deliveries scheduled for this year.
