MAPECURE E30

An anti-evaporation agent in UAE in the water emulsion prevents concrete from drying out too quickly when exposed to winds and sunlight.

WHERE TO USE

To protect fresh concrete from rapid water evaporation caused by wind or sunlight and to reduce surface cracking.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Mapecure E-30 is a white water emulsion made of unique resins that covers concrete in an even, somewhat elastic layer that is air- and water-tight. Whether concrete is exposed to direct sunshine or severe rapid drying conditions brought on by wind, low humidity, high temperatures, or both, Mapecure E 30 offers dependable protection against water evaporation.

The following benefits are provided by Mapecure E 30:

• Improved mechanical strength development: the lack of moisture in curing concrete can lead to a 50% reduction in strength;
• improved resistance to wear;
• reduced surface dusting;
• quick and simple application.

For industrial paving, Mapecure E 30 must be applied after the concrete has begun to set, and for formed concrete, it must be applied right away following formwork removal. Mapecure E 30 should be put to the surface of the concrete following the evaporation of bleeding water.

Mix Mapecure E 30 thoroughly before using.

Use of Mapecure E 30 requires no dilution at all.

Utilising the product

Spray Mapecure E 30 in a single, thin, even coating at about one atmosphere of pressure.

Rain and washing won't affect Mapecure E 30 after about two to three hours at +20°C.

Tidying up

Prior to Mapecure E 30 drying, spray tools need to be cleansed with water.

CONSUMPTION

Mapecure E 30 not diluted: 100-250 g/m².

PACKAGING

Mapecure E 30 is supplied in 25 kg tanks, 200 l drums, and 1000 liter IBC.

STORAGE

Mapecure E 30 may be stored for 12 months in closed containers; protected from frost and from exposure to direct sunlight. The storage temperature must be between +5°C and +30°C.
