Lice are very stubborn parasites. They might be the size of a rice grain but they are definitely hard to kill. The main reason behind this is that they grow in numbers very fast. A louse lays 5 to 6 eggs in one day. The eggs are mainly in off white color when the embryo is still inside it. The eggs hatch after 7 to 8 days leaving behind a white colored shell. The baby lice are called nymphs. They are just like adult lice but they are smaller in size. The nymphs change into adult lice within 21 days. They lay their own eggs then. Female lice are bigger than male lice. The total life span of a louse is around 30 days. In this time a louse lays hundreds of eggs so you can just imagine how fast they grow.

So, how to treat nits and lice to stop them from growing? The answer is very simple and that is natural treatment. The natural treatments are very simple with effective results. They will dissolve in the water or just mash in the morning and you will see that the water will get little soapy. Then just wash your hairs with it. Do this procedure every day for rest of the week.
