For those in the market for an efficient, innovative and family friendly SUV, here is some good news. Hyundai is making some subtle changes to its popular Santa Fe model for the regular and sport version. The Hyundai Santa Fe has been on sale since the 2012 when it debuted at the New York Auto Show and has maintained its character with a beautifully designed interior and exterior.

With the 2015 models in the making, here is a snapshot on the expected price: The 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe has a starting MSRP of $30,150 while the Santa Fe Sport has a starting MSRP of $24,950. With new standard features and a revised steering and suspension tuning, the Santa Fe offers more comfort and convenience than ever before. They include daytime running lights, driver's blind spot mirror and auto up/down functionality in the front passenger window to name a few. Both models are also equipped with hands-free Smart Liftgate that has auto open to allow easy access to its owner when the hands are full. This means the system doesn't even require anyone to push the button or use the key to open the rear gate but instead stand a few feet behind the gate with the key fob in the pocket. Take the time to browse through the handbook of this feature and you will like what you have that is absent in current Santa Fe models. For a $3,750 package that the Smart Liftgate is a part of, you will also get a leather-wrapped steering wheels, sliding second row seats and blind spot direction system.

What is more, mark the color that most appeals to you and then go back and try to identify what features you like to add to the package. You might find that it is not the outer appearance that makes it an appealing choice as much as what goes inside the vehicle. Hyundai has also made some changes to its suspension systems for efficiency in both versions. For example, the stiffness of the lower control arm bushing and wheel bearing have been increased to boost the lateral stiffness in the front suspension. The lateral stiffness is also benefited by the revised bushing setups and read suspension geometry, works best to improve the Santa Fe’s overall efficiency. In addition, the company has also tweaked the setup of the steering in the regular model by switching to a 32-bit microprocessor that is believed to provide a more refined experience. The system also allows the driver to select the steering mode of his or her choice with sport setting as well for a firmer steering feel.

Little touches to the exterior can make a vehicle stand out. The new 2015 model comes with a couple of new colors like platinum graphite and sparkling silver added to it standard color set. The Santa Fe Sport model is presented with a two-tone grille giving it a unique look and is powered with a choice of turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The 2015 Hyundai Sat Fe can carry up to seven passengers more comfortably than any other previous model. The leather seats provide optimum comfort and are easily adjustable as well. The armrest storage is one of the new interior features that is clearly noticeable along with the spacious interior. Hyundai has also included high quality door panels to boost its appearance from inside out.
