Duplex type strainer works as the perfect filter in piping system

Industrial processes that require a continuous flow of liquid are blessed with the duplex type strainer. It is a single device, which is responsible in controlling the smooth flow of liquid in the pipeline or between two processes. It can be used for oil, water or any other fuel piping system. The strainer is meant for removing any dirt or debris that may stop the flow of the liquid or even damage it. The strainer keeps the debris and helps in the smooth passage.

Twin baskets or strainers are often used for cleaning process. They are installed in those systems where the flow of the liquid cannot be stopped at all. They work as filters. The strainers may be big or smaller, but the essential function is the same. All of them come with some standard features for ideal conditions to operate:

Each strainer (basket) will have quick release covers. There should be no need to lift any other part or extra tools to open it.

The covers need irrepressible seals.

The supporting cage of basket/strainer comes with support and meshes inserts. The effectiveness lies in reducing spares and cutting costs.

Outside the valve, the indicator should reflect which valve is in operation or which one is streaming.

The valve seats need to be replaceable when needed.

The outer valve should exert equal pressure.

Only one basket/strainer per chamber is required.

The screws and shafts, and other materials should be made of stainless steel.

The strainer should contain proper paint on the external surface.

Must contain automatic valve operation for change over.
