POPULAR EASTERN ALGARVE TOWNS:

Tavira: One of the oldest towns in the Algarve and considered to be the most beautiful town in the whole region, famous for its architecture, culture and natural heritage. Due to the romantic setting by the river Gilao and the seven-arch Roman bridge, Algarve Property Rentals is sometimes referred to as the Venice of the Algarve.

Cabanas: A former fishing village and now a popular tourist destination due to its beautiful beach located on an island just offshore, part of the Ria Formosa. There are bars, cafes and restaurants along the waterfront.

Stretching over almost half of the eastern Algarve coastline is the Ria Formosa national park - a beautiful nature reserve with a labyrinth of lagoons and river estuaries between the land and sea. BEST BEACHES:

Beaches on the eastern Algarve are very beautiful and much calmer than in the west. With warm waters, many have Blue Flag & Gold Quality awards.
