Steel fabrication is the building of steel structures by cutting, bending, and assembling processes. Steel fabrication is a value added process that involves the construction of machines and structures from various raw materials in different industries. A fabrication shop will bid on a job, usually based on the engineering work, and if awarded the contract will build the product. Large fabrication shops will employ a multitude of value added processes in one plant or facility for the customer satisfactions. These large fabrication shops offer additional value to their customers as per their need and different services. Steel is strong metallic construction material, with a specific shape or cross section and certain standards of chemical composition and mechanical properties. Steel can be use in different shape, size, composition, strength, storage durability; is regulated in most industrialized region of the different parts of the world.

Steel is the very strong, durable and essential part of the construction industry. Fabrication is the process used for the manufacturing of the steel equipment and components that will help in the assembling to and joined the equipment and form a complete frame. The frame normally uses and readily available and durable and hard in nature and standard in sections. Now days the time is less and the each individual want to done his work in short time. Steel fabricators are used to joint the steel plates and equipment because of their durability.

A wide range of shapes and sizes are produced and designed and the built-up girders may be fabricated from plate. The most modern steelwork fabrication factories have computer aided design and detailing (CAD) for saving the time and improving the quality, which is linked directly to factory floor computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery creating a genuine CAD/CAM environment. The accuracy of the computer generated is much better than the manual factories and details being transmitted directly to the computer aided manufacturing (CAM) machinery increases the quality standards of production. In present time it is obvious that the machinery has taken over from the tape measure means that the frame is produced to high quality and much number of the standards fabricators which are reflected in the speed and accuracy of steel in the plant.
