A bad fluid can create problems in the shifting, it has to be replaced and the transmission should get flushed. Then new fluid is topped up.
l Then the clutch system is checked well. Any wearing of the parts of the clutch system can lead to shifting problems, therefore it has to be replaced.
l The shift linkage is checked well, the faulty one can led to hard shifting or delay in shifts. The damaged one is to be replaced.
l The bearing and the bolts in the gear box are checked. The worn bearing or bolts are replaced. The loose bolts are tightened well.
l The synchronizer rings are checked well and the damaged ones are replaced.
l The gears are checked. If there is damage like broken teeth or similar ones which can create problem, then it has to be replaced.
