ATG Productions isn’t just a label. It’s a launchpad for Ashwin Gane multi-dimensional artistry. Founded during his early days as The One ATG, the studio has evolved from a bedroom beat lab into a full creative house where music, visuals, and branding intersect with intention.

Ashwin started as a producer-for-hire, working behind the boards for local Detroit acts and building up his signature orchestral-trap hybrid before putting his own name on records. "I had to build my own world from scratch," he says. "ATG Productions is the soundstage where it happens."

One of his most notable early achievements under ATG Productions is executive producing a full-length project for Chicago drill icon Lil Reese — a rare co-sign that positioned Ashwin as more than a regional figure. "That was horror trap before people even had a name for it," he says. "It was about translating pain into tension and texture."

Over the years, ATG Productions has quietly developed songs and visuals for rising underground artists, handled original scoring for Trap City (a film released by Kyyba Films), and hosted studio sessions with producers like Scott Storch, ATL Jacob, and Pooh Bear. It’s a collective, a production suite, and a testing ground for new sonics all in one.

Ashwin’s creative process often starts at ATG — sometimes with a vocal melody, sometimes with a short film script. From there, the studio becomes a lab. "The whole point was ownership. If I build the space, I control the sound."
