Nissan is one of the most profitable automakers companies in the world, and it's easy to see why. They have a long history of making high-quality cars, and the 2015 Nissan Quest is no exception. This impressive minivan is an excellent family vehicle, with three rows of seating for up to seven people. The new Quest has a starting MSRP of $26,530, making it one of the best values on the market.

The New Nissan Quest

There are a few changes to this year's Nissan including the LE trim being replaced by a platinum trim. The 4.3" display has been replaced with a 5" color audio display system, and the variable transmission is substituted by a D-Step Shift Logic. The new transmission shifts gears more smoothly, and handles more like a traditional automatic. This Quest also features upgrades to the interior materials, making it seem more luxurious.

The New Quest Exterior

The New Quest features an impressive exterior which resembles that of an SUV. The standard 16" wheels add to this appeal, and the Quest is also available with 18" wheels. This minivan is also available with a moonroof, power-sliding doors, xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights and power liftgate. The Quest is certainly aesthetically pleasing, but it also features several, impressive interior features.

The Quest has two captain chairs in the second row, instead of the cumbersome bench that many SUV's feature. However, even these seats can be folded flat as can the third row, to create a flat area for additional cargo. The driver's seat has available memory so there's no need to constantly adjust the seat for every trip. There's also an available Bose sound system, navigation, backseat entertainment system, iPod and Bluetooth connections and heated leather front seats.

The New Quest's Drivetrain

This minivan features front-wheel drive and an Xtronic transmission. The engine is surprisingly powerful and capable of towing small boats. The 260 horsepower 3.5 liter, V6 engine accelerates nicely past slower traffic, to get young soccer players to the game on time. With an EPA estimated 27 miles per gallon on the highway and 20 miles per gallon in the city.

A Safe Choice

The new Quest has a number of standard safety features which keep the drivers and passengers safe. The front seats are protected by mounted side airbags and seat active head restraints. There are also side curtain airbags to protect all three rows of seats from side impacts as well as flipping. The tire pressure monitoring system sounds the horn when the tires are inflated properly. There's also an available surround view camera system and a blind spot warning system.
