Motherhood is a great feeling. It fills your with a new compassion and ability to take care of a new life, but with motherhood come body changes which are necessary to be managed. Weight gain is one such problem which arises after pregnancy. As the body needs more calories to feed baby it start accumulating fat which later on results into post pregnancy belly.

Here we are going to share tips which will help you to lose baby belly easily.

#Start slowly and take your time

It is seen that movie stars seems to get rid of post pregnancy belly within no time but in reality it needs time. You body has being through a lot of biological changes in the last nine months, don’t assume to lose all the weight in a fortnight.

Avoid any intensified regime just take it easy.

#Breastfeeding

Breast feeding enables you to lose up to 500 calories a day easily and if possible then go for it. Also it will loosen up the hormonal imbalance of any kind in your body. Ask your doctor more on breast feeding and its benefits.

#Exercising

You need to get moving as soon as possible after pregnancy, as it is necessary. Ask your healthcare provider when you can start exercising. Include warm up exercises like jogging, skipping and aerobics. After you get comfortable with these, then go for more rigorous exercises like crunches and sit ups.

Yoga is of great help in dealing with pregnancy weight gain. Vinyasa flow, Uthkatasana, Naukasana and Setubandhasana are some of the best yoga asanas to reduce post pregnancy belly. Yoga will also benefit your psychological changes which arise after pregnancy.

#Diet

Change your diet and lifestyle for easily losing post pregnancy belly. Take small and frequent meals. Commonly when you starve for food you tend to take more calories which results in weight gain. Taking smaller meals helps you avoid extra calories and it also benefits your metabolism.

Make changes in your diet. Replace snacks which are rich in sugar with fruits, include high fiber and low fat snacks in your diet. Just cut off any fatty food item from your diet. High fiber diet will keep you feeling full all the time and it will avoid unnecessary munching.

Protein diet is also necessary to get lean body mass. Include chicken and fish like wild salmon which is high in Omega-3s in your diet. Tuna and swordfish should be avoided by mothers who breast feed.

#Drink Water

There is no better way to allow your body to function properly than increasing the water levels in body. Hydration is very crucial to help weight loss as it benefits digestion and takes care of the appetite. Consume at least 8 glasses of water daily.

#Support

Don’t make pregnancy belly reduction your personal fight. Include your family in the task as well. There are a lot of things to be taken care of. You alone cannot handle it all or even if you can some additional help with not be harmful.
