Cutting: Use a blade with 120 teeth or more to get a clean, chip-free blade. Ensure a stable feed speed (≤2 m/min), and use a coolant to prevent melting.
Thermoforming: Heat the sheet evenly using an infrared heater. For thick plates (> 30mm), the step-by-step heating process is used: before forming, one side is heated at 120 C for 5min, and then the other side is heated. The minimum bending radius should be at least 3 times the thickness of the plate to avoid stress whitening.
Polishing: For edge polishing, progressively use sandpaper from 600-grit to 1500-grit, followed by a specialized acrylic polishing compound (e. AC-Polish 03), create a crystal clear surface effect.
