David Warner reveals he was overcome

'How could I not have a tear in my eye': David Warner reveals he was overcome with emotion upon seeing new wife Candice in her $25,000 custom made wedding dress
After 13 months of careful planning, David and Candice Warner's wedding day came together in spectacular fashion this month.
Not even a slight drizzle could put a damper on the momentous occasion with Australian cricketer David revealing he was overcome with emotion upon seeing his beautiful bride for the first time.
'How could I not have a tear in my eye when I saw Candice walk around the corner looking like the most beautiful bride in the world?' the sportsman, 28, told Monday's issue of Woman's Day.
'I was stuck again by just how lucky I was to find The One - the woman I will spend the rest of my life with.'
And the besotted groom certainly had a sight to behold when 30-year-old Candice crossed the rain sprinkled fields of Terrara House Estate on the New South Wales South Coast, in a jaw-dropping $25,000 gown.
Custom made by Australian design house Pallas Couture, the delicate tulle dress with French lace detailing featured a gaping plunging neckline and capped sleeves.
The tight-fitting design hugged her hourglass curves while a semi sheer skirt revealed glimpses of the former Ironwoman's shapely legs.
The blonde stunner's long locks were worn out of the day and perfectly coiffed into beachy waves.
Letting her natural beauty speak for itself, Candice opted for a natural makeup look with an understated smoky eye and pale pink lip colour.
She completed the look with a stunning cathedral length veil and an overhanging bouquet of white roses and orchids.
The piece de resistance however, were undoubtedly her two diamond studded wedding bands, one for either side of her glittering engagement ring.
The mother-of-one Candice wasn't the only one sporting big bling on the day, with David also flaunting a massive ring.
With five rows of flawless diamonds set into a thick band, he almost outshined the bride herself.
Another standout of the day was the couple's gurgling eight-month-old daughter Ivy Mae, who like her mother was dressed in white.
A tiny A-line frock and cropped jacket was topped off with a crown of flowers.
Three bridesmaids, Olympic kayaker Naomi Flood, former ironwoman Kelly Jury and Llara Rope, were also dressed in white to complete the elegant affair.
Friends, family and team mates came out in full support to witness the long-awaited romantic ceremony between the power couple.
And they certainly arrived at the beautiful location in style.
Groomsmen Morrison Mong, David's brother Steven and Candice's brother Patrick, were spotted descending from helicopters, stepping out in their best suits for the occasion.
With their umbrellas in hand, they were seen nearing the marquees set up for the intimate ceremony.
Many guests took to social media to showcase their ensembles using the hashtag, 'Warnerwedding' just before watching the happy couple exchange their vows.
The attendees were in for a special treat during their time at the unique wedding venue and were given the chance to play a variety of outdoor activities such as croquet, badminton and chess.
The beautiful bride was pampered in style at the Terrara House Bridal Salon, which provides personally tailored rooms decked out in an 18th Century French-inspired aesthetic.
The venue also provided garden party drinks with Pimm's, champagne and canapés for attendees to devour while they kicked back on their stunning lawns.
Insiders have told DMA that the guest list was packed to the brim but sadly many cricketers were forced to skip the nuptials as they jetted off to India ahead of the Premiere League match.
The night before the big day, David announced on his social networking sites that he was tying the knot with Candice and couldn't wait to make an honest woman of her.
Alongside a photograph of them together, he teased: 'Last night before we are husband and wife, can't wait for the big day. Love you so much @candyfalzon…'
After spending their first night as husband and wife in the Kangaroo Valley, Mr and Mrs Warner returned to their home in Sydney.
In an image posted to Instagram at the time the pair look relaxed and write: 'Two days in as husband and wife and life doesn't get much better.'
The hunky sportsman popped the question to the Australian professional ironwoman during Australia's tour of South Africa last March following a whirlwind six-month romance.
The couple are now the proud parents to adorable daughter Ivy Mae, who played a major part in their wedding day.
While currently in India where David is playing cricket, the newlyweds hope to honeymoon in the south of France later in the year.
