Here are these mistakes.

You are not proactive

Many students think that as they have a degree, a job will find them itself. Well, it is not so, unfortunately. You have to be active and look for new opportunities every day. Sitting around and waiting for your dream job won’t help you get it. You have to get up and find it yourself.

You are not positive

It actually concerns not only job searches. Positive attitude is the key to success in everything. Employees always prefer positive people to negative as these people create better work environment. Remember that when you are talking to your potential employer.

You don’t pay enough attention to your Resume

This is also a common mistake among young job seekers. Surely, you may not have that much information to fill your CV with as you haven’t got much working experience. However, you can try to make your resume more interesting and unusual. If in the University you wrote essays yourself and were good at it, you can create a very good resume, describing your skills and achievements in an interesting manner that will attract your employer’s attention.

You don’t Use Social Networks Properly

Social networks is not only about posting pictures and chatting with friends. You can also put your name out there and create good connections with the right people. You can also make a post that you are in a search for a job; maybe some of your friends know someone who can offer you one. Use LinkedIn, Google+, Facebook, Twitter or any other popular social networks. You don’t practice your interview skills

Interview is one of the crucial points of getting a job. Being ready for it is a must. Before going to a certain company for an interview, read this company’s history, find out its peculiarities and rules. And don’t forget to freshen up your knowledge for the position you want to occupy.

Looking for a serious job for the first time can be scary. However, if you are a good specialist and you don’t make all of the described mistakes, you will be just fine.
