The top wine varieties from this vineyard are Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon among others. There is a tasting room that will set you back in the range of $20-$25 for a number of brands that includes both current and previous releases.

Rutherford Hill Winery

This winery is set on top of a lofty plateau just above the Napa valley and is open daily with tours beginning at 11.30 am, 1.30 pm and 3.30 pm. The winery is housed in a redwood barn with an airy tasting lounge that will set you back $10-$30 for reserve brands that are only available at the winery as well as new releases. The winery cave is about forty thousand square feet of tunnels that go into the hillside and is good for walks. Rutherford winery is known for producing good and quality Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay.

Pride Mountain Vineyards

The view you will experience at this vineyard is certainly worth the long drive. The winery is open for visits from Wednesdays through Monday with tours starting at 10 am except on Sundays and Tuesdays. Wine tasting here will cost you between $10 and $75 and you only get access by appointment. It is located at the peak that overlaps Sonoma and Napa; while here you can take a tour of the ruins of the original winery, Summit Ranch Winery or hike around the over two hundred and thirty five acres of estate.

Peju Province Winery

The surrounding of this winery offer visitors sculptures, fountains and lines of sycamore trees which are a good background for photos. Inside the winery there is an art gallery, shop and several tasting rooms that will set you back $15 to $45. You however need to make a reservation to be able to taste older wines from the stock.
