In late February, Dodge and Mopar gathered together to lend their full support to all Dodge Viper vehicles racing in the 2015 Trans Am racing series for the TA3i class. Mopar (derived from "motor" and "parts") generally delivers service and parts for Fiat Chrysler vehicles. Now, they join Dodge in an aim to provide quality parts and high performance cars to the drivers participating in the Trans Am Road Racing series. While providing parts and service for these vehicles is the primary goal of Mopar, they also support the participating racers with incentives, should the drivers using a Dodge vehicle place highly in one of the 12 races.

At each one of the 12 races played throughout the series, if a driver using a Dodge Viper places in first, second or third place, they will receive cash awards by Mopar for the loyalty they've displayed, as well as their placement. A first-place position nets $1,500, while a second-place position earns a driver $1,000 and a third place position gets $500. All racers operating a Dodge Viper have the ability to earn these awards for all 12 races on the schedule. Once the season comes to an end and the class championship begins, racers placing in the in first, second or third positions in the championship will also receive prizes, as long as they drive a Dodge Viper. These awards amount to $5,000, $2,500 and $1,250 respectively. Both Dodge and Mopar are also set to support the multiple entries of the Dodge Challenger used by Miller Racing within the TA2 category of racing.

The team at Miller Racing switched to Dodge Challenger automobiles mid-season in 2014 and won the following TA2 championship. This championship was won by Cameron Lawrence, a young driver of 22 who also won the previous year's championship. Lawrence, along with the Dodge Viper, earned another victory at the renowned Rolex 24 Hours race, which is an impressive GT Daytona Class win. The TA2 racing category is identified primarily by the rule stating all vehicles participating in these races must have their engines tuned to close to 500 horsepower. The two Dodge Challenger vehicles used by Miller Racing are the only Dodge vehicles in the entirety of TA2, making their wins all the more impressive. The primary vehicle types these two racers line up against are Mustangs and Camaros.

The team of racers in the TA2 class also get full support from Dodge and Mopar throughout the season, as each racer receives access to the FCA headquarters for wind tunnel assessments. In both the TA3i and TA2 classes, all drivers racing in a Dodge Viper or Dodge Challenger will get technical support for their vehicles, which will extend to the conclusion of the season. The first race of the Trans Am was just recently completed, with 11 more to follow. The initial race took place at the Sebring International Raceway within Sebring, Florida. Throughout the series, drivers in the Dodge Viper and Challenger vehicles will travel to a whole host of different locations, including Road America, Daytona International Speedway and Road Atlanta, among many others.
