There's a nice little bonus waiting for players when the Return of the Ancients update goes live for Path of Exile 2 on May 29. While most people are talking about the endgame changes, the Twitch rewards are worth sorting out early, especially if you like account-wide cosmetics sitting beside your usual stash of PoE 2 Items. The main prize in the first drop window is the Arbiter of Ash Waypoint, and yeah, it's the one many players spotted straight away. It works in Path of Exile 2, and the campaign also includes rewards that can be claimed through the usual Twitch Drops system once your account is properly linked.

Week One Drop Window

The first Twitch Drops period starts on May 29 at 1:00 PM PDT and runs until June 6 at 4:59 AM PDT. During that time, you'll need to watch three hours of Path of Exile 2 streams on Twitch to unlock the Arbiter of Ash Waypoint cosmetic. It doesn't have to be one single stream, so don't worry if you're jumping between channels or watching in shorter sessions. Just make sure the channel has drops enabled and is actually streaming Path of Exile 2. A lot of players miss that part, then wonder why their progress bar hasn't moved.

Week Two Reward

The second reward period begins right after the first one ends. It runs from June 6 at 5:00 AM PDT until June 13 at 4:59 AM PDT. This time, the reward is the Wendigo's Crown Helmet Attachment. The requirement is the same as before: watch three hours of eligible Path of Exile 2 content on Twitch during that specific week. Progress from the first week won't carry over to the second reward, so you'll need to put in the viewing time again. It's simple enough, but it's better not to leave it until the final evening, because time zones and Twitch tracking can be annoying when you're cutting it close.

Support A Streamer Bonus

There's also a separate Support a Streamer reward running across the whole event. From May 29 at 1:00 PM PDT to June 13 at 4:59 AM PDT, gifting two Twitch subscriptions to a streamer broadcasting Path of Exile 2 will make you eligible for the Verisium Parasite Pet. This one isn't tied to watch time. It's based on gifted subs, so check that the streamer is part of the campaign before spending anything. If you already support PoE creators, this is a decent extra perk. If not, take a minute to pick someone you actually enjoy watching rather than rushing the first channel you see.

Linking And Claiming Your Rewards

Before you start watching, link your Twitch account through the connections area in your profile settings, then connect it to the account you use for Path of Exile. After that, return to an eligible stream and check whether Twitch is showing drop progress. Once the required time is complete, claim the reward on Twitch first, then look for it in-game through your cosmetics, mailbox, or account inventory. It's also smart to sort this out before farming, trading, or checking Path of Exile 2 Items for sale, since fixing account links after the campaign begins can waste a chunk of your viewing time.
