Do you want to gain international hospitality experience in the United States? The BridgeUSA SEVIS Program offers a legal, paid hospitality internship in the USA under the J-1 Visa category for students and graduates who want professional training, cultural exchange, and international work exposure.

The program is open to applicants of all nationalities except U.S. citizens. Current university students and graduates aged 18–34 years are eligible to apply. Available hospitality departments include Front Office, Food & Beverage Service, Culinary/Kitchen Operations, Housekeeping, Banquet & Events, Revenue Management, Guest Relations, and Hotel Operations. These roles are designed to provide practical learning and hands-on experience in real hotel environments while helping participants develop customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.

Selected participants will receive paid practical training in the United States. Salaries generally range from US$12 to US$25 per hour depending on the hotel, department, location, and experience. Many positions also include customer tips. With full-time schedules of approximately 30–40 hours per week, participants may earn around US$1,500 to US$4,000 per month, which can help cover living expenses while allowing savings. Participants also gain exposure to international workplace standards, hospitality operations, and multicultural working environments that can strengthen future career opportunities worldwide.

Internship placements are available with internationally recognized hotel brands including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Sheraton, and Westin. Locations may include major U.S. cities such as New York City, Miami, Orlando, Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. These placements provide valuable international exposure and professional hospitality training in multicultural work environments. Participants also gain practical customer service experience, improve communication skills, and learn international hotel standards that can strengthen future career opportunities. Many former participants have successfully used this experience to improve their resumes and secure better hospitality jobs in their home countries and internationally.

The BridgeUSA J-1 Program is not only a work opportunity but also a cultural exchange experience. Participants can improve English communication skills, gain confidence, meet people from different countries, and experience American culture while legally working in approved hospitality training programs. The program allows young professionals to develop independence, adapt to international workplaces, and understand global hospitality practices.

Please note that this opportunity is not free. All costs must be covered by the applicant. Expenses may include the SEVIS I-901 Fee, DS-160 Visa Fee (MRV), sponsor program fees, health insurance, visa processing costs, airfare, accommodation, and other travel-related expenses. Applicants must receive sponsorship from a SEVIS-recognized sponsor organization before applying for the J-1 Visa. Only shortlisted applicants will proceed to interviews and sponsor evaluation.

Indian applicants are strongly advised to apply at least four months before their planned start date because sponsor processing and visa appointments can take time. Applicants should prepare a professional CV/Resume and cover letter highlighting their education, hospitality background, communication skills, and career goals. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility in hospitality work schedules can improve selection chances.

To apply, send your updated Cover Letter and CV/Resume along with your field of study, graduation year, and nationality to infosgeocast@gmail.com. Use the subject line: "BridgeUSA Hotel Internship Applicant – [Your Country] – [Your Full Name]". Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews and further processing.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for hospitality students and graduates seeking legal U.S. work experience, international exposure, professional development, and global career growth.
