Chennai's Independence Day Drawing & Colouring Kondattam 2026 to Celebrate Young Talent and Patriot

All the young artists in chennai are going to showcase their creativity for nation at Chennai's Independence Day Drawing & Colouring Kondattam 2026 takes place on 2nd August 2026 at Decathlon, Nolambur – Mogappair, Chennai. The event is been organised by Sportena Academy with Apollo Hospitals as the event partner and Decathlon as the Sports partner as the event is going to an celebration for all children in various groups. As the part of Independence Day Celebrations the event helps in encouraging creativity in children by drawing and colouring. The event provides a platform where young participants can build confidence, showcase their imagination, and celebrate the spirit of the nation through art.

The event has separate categories of children of different age groups. The kids category includes Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG students, to participate in colouring activities starting from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. As the Junior Category, scheduled from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, includes students from Class I to VIII, with the theme of Lotus, Fruits Basket, Peacock and National Leader to encourage children in patriotic values. Each registered participant will receive medal, certificate and refreshments in recognition of their creativity and efforts. The top 5 winners in each category will be awarded with trophies, medals, certificates and refreshments as the prize distribution ceremony will be held on 1:00 PM.

Students will be provided with colouring sheets for eligible categories by organisers and the participants are requested to bring their own art materials like drawing pads and colouring kits.
