Today, and every LinkedIn profile where you log on, says "Agentic AI Expert" or "AI Agent Builder." Don’t Fall for These Common Myths

• ChatGPT is not an AI Agent by default, but becomes one when it utilises tools in agent mode.
• Zapier-style automation is not an agent; an automation is a set of steps that are preprogrammed, and an agent makes decisions about their next step.
• Agentic AI is not equating to AGI; these systems still hallucinate, get confused, and are more expensive to run.
