Abdomen reduction is also called an abdominoplasty or tummy tuck. In this procedure excess skin and fat can be removed, abdominal contours and scars improved. Abdominal fat is one of the major problems in the world today when it comes to keeping a body fit and looking good. The issue has crossed the gender division to make it a common issue among all from male to female. The evasive abs or abdominal muscles being seen are some of the things considered the holy grail of fitness. Before you choose to get abdomen reduction let us teach you more about it.

This type of fat found in the abdomen is caused from a sedentary lifestyle coupled with a lot of carbohydrates which usually source from sugars which is one of the major issues in the western diet. According to Dr. Jade Teta (2013) there are two types of belly fat: visceral belly fat and subcutaneous belly fat. Visceral fat is underneath the abdominal muscle and in close proximity to the organs. You can't pinch it, and those who have a lot of it, can have abdominal muscles that feel tight and ridged despite the bulging protrusion. Subcutaneous belly fat is above the abdominal muscles and can be pinched. This is the stuff that hangs over the belt. Visceral fat is more easily stored and faster to be burned. This is because it has a greater blood supply and is more sensitive to the fat burning hormones (catecholamines) compared to subcutaneous fat.

Belly fat is stored when the combination of excess calories meets the hormonal influence of cortisol and insulin. For those of you who take a calorie-centered approach to weight loss, you may find that the fat around your belly burns off at a much slower rate. This is because belly fat can be as much a hormonal phenomenon as it is a caloric one.

When this belly fat becomes too much it inhibits proper living and even carrying out of usual actions such as running as well as procreation too. This is where there is the need for abdomen reduction.

Cellulite reduction is another issue that has continued to ravage the two sexes in the world. Before you choose to get cellulite reduced it is best you understand what it is about. Cellulite is according to Dr. Bill Johnson a mattress like or orange peel appearance that affects the skin in most women and some men. Studies show that over 80% of women have some degree of cellulite. Cellulite is most prevalent on the thighs and buttocks, but can also be present on the abdomen and arms. For many years, cellulite was considered a normal skin condition. In fact many practitioners today still consider cellulite normal and do not see a reason for treating it. Until around the year 2000, little research was done to understand and treat cellulite.

Cellulite is caused by a number of factors such as weight changes, local injuries, sun exposure, and lifestyle as well as after pregnancy. These are just a few of the causing factors of cellulite. The skin change after these things affect one’s body is what makes the body have cellulite appearing on it. These changes are:-

  1. Fat cells erupt into from the normal fat layer into the lower edge of our skin called the dermis. This tends to push the skin up in local areas.
  2. The connective tissue "pillars" that support the fat become hardened and contract. This tends to dimple the skin in local areas.

Cellulite can be seen in three levels.

Level 1: There is no visible cellulite when standing however when the skin is pinched there is the appearance of this orange peel or mattress appearance on the skin.

Level 2: There is visible cellulite when standing but there is none when laying down

Level 3: This level has cellulite visible when standing and when laying down.

However the good news is that cellulite reduction can be done and we at sculptor body can do it without going under the knife.

Post pregnancy weight loss is another thing ladies seek however this one is sex specific. It only affects females who have recently given birth. The body changes with the sudden reduction of body size after the child is delivered and this is one of the things that can leave the body looking different and undesirable from its previous state. The skin is left flabby and lose and this calls for skin tightening.

Skin tightening can be done by working out or through going under the knife. However there are alternatives to going under the knife and this is by use of harmless body creams that will deliver results in short times.
