The American Society of Oncology (ASCO) is holding an event this May 29th until the 2nd of June in Chicago, Illinois. This is the 2015 ASCO Annual Meeting and it is happening at the McCormick Place. Funds for this event come from the Conquer Cancer Foundation as well as other organizations that focus on battling cancer. With the help of Pyramid and its trade show transportation services, the whole event is slowly being pieced together. Trade show transportation from Pyramid is definitely a big help as these people know how to work out huge events like this one.

Learning is one of the top goals that the event is aiming at. That is why there are plenty of sessions that you can choose to attend so that you can learn more and know more about the oncology industry. It is through learning and gaining more knowledge that should help practitioners help patients battle the disease. Here are some of the sessions that have been prepared for all attendees:

  • Education sessions - For those who are interested in exploring all of the various areas of clinical oncology, this should be a really great place for you to go to. They delve into the more specific areas that go with oncology and the list includes surgical oncology, radiation oncology, geriatric oncology, health services, pathology, and symptom management.

  • Sessions on clinic problems in oncology - This is designed to be a panel discussion that would be using cases as samples. The audience is also encouraged to participate as there are keypads for them that would help them interact with the resource speakers. To be part of this, you have to purchase a ticket.

  • Meeting resource speakers - During this type of session, you would be able to interact directly through discussions with some of the best known resource speakers in the industry. They would be tackling a variety of areas in oncology. Like the previous session, this one would also need you to have a ticket to be part of it.

  • Oral abstract sessions - If you are interested in learning more about the latest research data and findings, this would be a really great portion of the event that you would need to attend. There are different researches and studies done each year and this is a definitely good place to share those findings and discuss them to an interested audience.

The website for the event holds all the information that you would need so that you can take full advantage of what it has to offer you. Make sure that you check it out and plan out your days. You can find hotel options there as well as schedules so you can choose which sessions to take or what you can do. There are also exhibits there for you to check out. It is highly recommended that you go through the exhibits as well so you can personally interact with company representatives and get any questions you may have answered.
