Jennifer Lopez’s Tony Awards Dress: Trades Sweats For Glam Gown

Jennifer Lopez’s Tony Awards dress was fit for a princess — and she totally took our breath away on the red carpet at the glam show! While she looked simply stunning on the red carpet, mere hours before stepping out she dressed down in sweats. Which look do you like better on the star?

Jennifer Lopez, 45, loves dressing sexy, but for the 2015 Tony Awards she switched up her style in an elegant Valentino ball gown — and she looked looked like a shining star! All eyes were on JLo as she arrived at Radio City Music Hall in NYC on June 7, clad in a blue dress that featured a star pattern in gold sequins — and it was one of our favorite red carpet moments of the night. While JLo’s ensemble was pure perfection, she didn’t exactly wake up like this. In fact, prior to hitting the red carpet she stepped out in the city where she looked sporty in sweats — it was so Jenny from the Block!

Even though she’s one of our favorite stars on the red carpet, she still loves to dress down — she’s so down-to-Earth. The multitasking mom headed out with her twins, where she donned a pair of baggy shorts and a zip-up hoodie, with her hair pulled back in a bun. She may look amazing in a ball gown, but she keeps it cool and casual when she’s with her kids. She kept her aviator glasses on, concealing her face, but she still totally caught our eye.

When it came time to head to the Tony Awards, she pulled a swap and left the sweats at home as she suited up in her gorgeous Valentino gown. The star complimented her embellished frock with a glam Old Hollywood vibe, pairing the ensemble with a retro ‘do, (that also allowed to show off her new short haircut), and a deep berry lip. While the dress featured a full skirt, the strapless silhouette and form-fitting bodice put her cleavage on display — and she looked amazing! JLo can make anything look sexy.
