Dedication, curiosity and constant human endeavors led to the discovery and invention of life changing gadgets and devices. These inventions changed the course of our lives and made life what it is today. Our day to day lives became easier and convenient. Some machines such as the Printer became an integral part of offices, and educational institutions. The ability of the printer to reproduce a large number of text and images brought a revolution in the world of publication. Different types of printers are now available which are used for different printing purposes. Few types of printers are discussed below.

Different types of Printers

  1. Laser type of Printer: It is a digital printer that makes high quality prints. It uses a laser beam for printing that moves back and forth repeatedly. The laser beam moves over a cylindrical drum that collects the ink and then transfers it onto the printing surface. The wet ink on the paper is then heated so that it becomes permanent. Both black and white and color printing can be done with the help of laser printers.
  2. Color Inkjet : It is one of the most widely used color printers in the world. Generating colors on these printers is relatively easier than other printers because a little bit of liquid can be used to create different types of colors. This is one of the reasons that very high quality prints of different colors can be made with the help of Color Inkjet Printers. Both single color and multiple color prints can be made with the help of Color Inkjet Printers. Color printing is comparatively slower in Inkjet Printers than single color printing. Inkjet Printers are available in two types: Liquid Inkjet Printers and Solid Inkjet Printers. As the name suggests Liquid Inkjet Printers use liquid ink for printing, on the other hand Solid Inkjet Printers use solid sticks of colored ink and so is a type of thermal transfer printer.
  3. Dye-Sublimation Printers: In this type of printers, heat is used for transferring the ink onto the printing surface. Dyes from a plastic film are passed on to the printing surface through a thermal print-head. They are usually used for the purpose of photo printing.

Printers are required for many purposes especially if you have some important assignments due for submission. You might not need them on a daily basis but at times they are very necessary so, nowadays there are Printer Rental Services in India who also operate and offer their Printer Rental Services in Mumbai. They give Printers for Rent in Hyderabad and are also spread across many cities offering their services in Computer Printer Rental in Kochi and Computer Printer Rental in Mumbai.
