  • Exelon: Exelon is another inhibitor for the acetylcholineterase, which is administered orally, and works by treating loss of memory and improving the ability to think.
  • Razadyne: This is another acetylcholineterase inhibitor and is popular for treating a few symptoms of Alzheimer's.
  • Antioxidants: the disease can be slowed down by intake of Vitamin E which is proved by the clinical trials. Trials also prove that selenium supplements too do a good job in preventing the symptoms of Alzheimer's.
  • Estrogen – Alzheimer's can cause brain damages, and estrogen therapy is a great way to slow it down. The progress of the disease cannot be slowed down, but it can help in bringing down the severity of the problems.
